Sunflower Tape Machine

Sunflower tape machine is the pseudonym and brain-child of Aryaman Singh, an independent musician based in Chennai, India. Collaborating closely with the artist, I co-crafted a brand and visual identity tailored to his target audience and aligned with the artist's unique persona and music style. In this role, I also conceived and designed two distinctive cover art pieces, optimizing their appeal for online platforms and securing coveted spots on popular playlists across Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube. These endeavors played a pivotal role in my "Sophomore Sweetheart" cover artwork earning the top spot in India's "The Best Album Art in 2021" as recognized in an article by Homegrown. Simultaneously, they contributed to the artist's feat as the first Indian musician to grace Spotify's "Fresh Finds" playlist, marking a profound milestone in his musical journey. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in conceptualizing music video ideas, orchestrating successful photo shoots to bolster the artist's online presence and brand image, and even took on the role of stylist for his "Internet Friends" music video. I further supported the artist's aspirations by crafting compelling portfolios and presentations for music video proposals, while helping in enhancing his social media presence through engaging and eye-catching posts.
